A person I would like to meet

Hello to everyone that is reading this! Today I'm going to share with you the person that I would like to meet, and that is Guillermo del Toro.

Guillermo del Toro is a Mexican filmmaker that created and made movies like "Pan's Labyrinth",  "The Devil's Backbone" and "The Shape of Water". He also has won a lot awards in the world of cinema and has been in many film festivals. I would really like to meet him not only because I love his movies, but also because he's a person that really loves movies and can talk hours and hours about them. He is a encyclopedia of cinema that I am sure I could learn something about it (I am really really sure about that because I watched many of his masterclasses that are in the internet).

I want to say that also I wanna meet him because he is a immigrant that left his country and start a new life in another one, and not only that but also he never give up in his dream to become a filmmaker, and all that is like what I'm living and what I want to do. I think he understand the immigration in unique way, in a very filmmaker's perspective.

Why did I choose my major?

Hi everyone! in this post I will talk about my major. As a child, I've always wanted to sell "Perros Calientes" (Typical Venezuelan food) with my father. But as I grew up I started getting obsessed with movies and that influenced me. I never had so many study options, because I always was really interested in cinema's field. Maybe another major that I was into was pedagogy in history, because I really like history. I decided to study Cinema and Television because I love movies and I believe that making movies all my life will make happy, and not only that, but also just being in the world of cinema sounds exciting. When I got accepted in the University of Chile, I was really happy because this is the university that I wanted. Until now it hasn't been easy thanks to the pandemic, and I couldn't say that I've experienced the University's life.  P.S: These movies convinced me to become a film student.

My Favorite Piece of Technology

Hi everyone! Today I will speak about my favorite piece of technology: The Refrigerator. You may be wonder... why is this my favorite piece of technology? Well it's simple, this is a "magical" device: it not only contains and preserves food, but also can make this food disappear haha. The Refrigerator has many uses, I can froze things, It preserves vegetables, has a lot of compartments and its "magical" ability consist in that you can keep some food, but another person can take it and eat it. The funny part is that you will never know who ate your tuna sandwich. This is why I will always have a Refrigerator in my life, and I recommend that all of you have one, so you can be part of this "magical" experience. Also, you will be able to preserve your tuna sandwich.

Who I am?

Hello everyone! I'm Rodrigo López Jiménez, I am a nineteenth year old boy who's a film student. I live right now in the south of Chile, specifically in Bulnes, a small town near from Chillan, the city of "sausages". I say "right now" because originally I was born in Venezuela. I lived sixteen years in my native country, I grew up in San Diego, which is a small city that is near to one of the biggest cities in Venezuela, which is Valencia. Three years ago, my family decided to migrate to Chile, with the intentions of finding a better life. That was a big change to me and my family, because migrating to another country is something that changes your whole life. In Venezuela, I grew up in San Diego, the small urban city that I mentioned. However, it isn’t that small, because it has everything to have fun with and realize as a person: parks, colleges, universities, restaurants, pubs, cinemas, etc. Also in San Diego I made very close friendships and studied until...
