A person I would like to meet

Hello to everyone that is reading this! Today I'm going to share with you the person that I would like to meet, and that is Guillermo del Toro.

Guillermo del Toro is a Mexican filmmaker that created and made movies like "Pan's Labyrinth",  "The Devil's Backbone" and "The Shape of Water". He also has won a lot awards in the world of cinema and has been in many film festivals. I would really like to meet him not only because I love his movies, but also because he's a person that really loves movies and can talk hours and hours about them. He is a encyclopedia of cinema that I am sure I could learn something about it (I am really really sure about that because I watched many of his masterclasses that are in the internet).

I want to say that also I wanna meet him because he is a immigrant that left his country and start a new life in another one, and not only that but also he never give up in his dream to become a filmmaker, and all that is like what I'm living and what I want to do. I think he understand the immigration in unique way, in a very filmmaker's perspective.

The Story of a Picture

Hi everyone! In this blog I'm going to talk about this picture that I took. In the first place, I have to say that this picture is from Valdivia. I took this picture in march of 2019, with my cellphone in the bridge Pedro of Valdivia. When the sunset was ending, I was coincidentally passing by, so I took this picture and later I realized that the photo was taken out of focus. This didn't bother me, because I thought that this effect makes the picture look like a watercolor painting. I really like to think about this photo in that way, because the city of Valdivia was strange to me, like a dream, and why I say this? because I feel that in Valdivia I lived so many things, I experimented a lot of emotions and met wonderful people, that city changed me forever. And It was like a dream because I only lived there one year and a half. I like to see this picture and see the sunset, the river, the Valdivia's fluvial market; I like to see it and remember that I saw that view every ...

How can cinema change people!

Hi to all of you! Today's post I will speak about my career and it's effect in the world. Cinema is a mass media, and that means that a movie can reach millions of peoples around the world. Thanks to that a movie can change the mindset of the people, either in a good way or a bad way. In my case, I think that movies have made me a better person. I am studying cinema and television not only because it's something that I love and I have skills to do it (or at least I think that haha), but also because I think that, by making movies, I am going to contribute in making the world a better place. Especially I want to make movies that talks about migration, because that is a theme closer to me and also it's something that I believe people have to reconsider, because sometimes we can have xenophobes thoughts and don't realize about them. I leave you a movie that made me think about this topic.

My Favorite Piece of Technology

Hi everyone! Today I will speak about my favorite piece of technology: The Refrigerator. You may be wonder... why is this my favorite piece of technology? Well it's simple, this is a "magical" device: it not only contains and preserves food, but also can make this food disappear haha. The Refrigerator has many uses, I can froze things, It preserves vegetables, has a lot of compartments and its "magical" ability consist in that you can keep some food, but another person can take it and eat it. The funny part is that you will never know who ate your tuna sandwich. This is why I will always have a Refrigerator in my life, and I recommend that all of you have one, so you can be part of this "magical" experience. Also, you will be able to preserve your tuna sandwich.
